• The Hand Thing

  Please give yourselves a big Hand for your help in creating this project!
  You certainly get two thumbs up from me for your kind donations, and I’m sure some of you will be happy to see nothing unpleasant has been done with your hands, it turns out I do not have somekind of horrid hand fetish…but I am somewhat addicted to the wealth of Puns available with this topic

  So as many of you have wondered what is it that I’ve been upto collecting all these hands? Well it’s really not as special as the build up to be honest.

  But a while ago I had this image in my head and it was something like the one below:

  The concept being that Xanga as with all online Blogging communities is really nothing without the input and influence of it’s loyal users, all of whom spend hours and hours slaving over the keyboard and mouse to provide beautiful words, beautiful images, interesting creations, unique works of art and humour.

  Each post, each image has been crafted, sometimes simply by hands on a keyboard but also sometimes these creations are hand made items, like costumes, cakes, drawings and art. Our species is endlessly inventive and creative no matter what we are dealing with we find someway of interweaving art and creation into it, but in the end it’s all down to someone and their hands, their minds and their hearts.

  So I hope you’ll give yourself a pat on the should in recognition of your input to this community and the wonder of our hands and ability to create, invent and discover.

  And since it feels like there was way more anticipation than was needed for the result here’s another image to make up this one with no duplicates:
