  • A Scheme.

Okay well i’ve been musing on possible avenues for online earning and while doing that i have been playing around with Affiliate links.

Now for those unfamiliar an Affiliate link is a link that you can get hold of from websites (such as Amazon and many others) and these links are to either the site or direct to a product, if anyone on the web clicks on your affiliate link and then goes to the site (for example they follow your link to Amazon,) when they get there they are using Amazon as normal but if they buy anything you get a small percentage of the sale.

This system dosen’t cost the customer anything, it dosen’t cost the affiliate anything (unless they paid for advertising for the link) and it only costs the company a small portion of their margin.

So my question is what dose everyone think about a site, perhaps like a blog or basic forum where if you want to buy something you post about it first to give someone else a chance to link you to it via their Affiliate Link? Would you bother to use it?

It wouldn’t really benefit you other than you’d be helping someone else profit from your purchase.

Anyhow not a very interesting post this time but I just wondered what others thought of this as an idea.

  • Sprite

Yep i know this should be ASSCAT stuff really but, i’ve been distracted by some pretty awesome gaming….so here’s a poem inspired by games to tide you over.

Hey sprite! there you are i miss you when you are gone, i trust your well and don’t hold a grudge for all the times i’ve spilt your blood.
I’ve shot you, stabbed you, blown you up. I’ve set you on fire and taken off limbs. I’ve hunted you down and prayed for your death, i’ve been witness to a thousand last breaths.

But no matter how many or how final it seems your always back, brand new, no wounds.

And don’t get me wrong it’s not all bad, while many have died and many more will my only purpose is not to kill.
I’ve loved you, i’ve cared, i’ve laughed and identified, anthropomorphised and shared. I’ve built you cities, decorated your home, seen you naked and designed your clothes.
Together we’ve ruled empires, been gods and heroes, slayen demons, robots and chickens.

I suppose what i’m saying, what i’m trying to mean….through you I have adventured, seen alien worlds. Experienced fear, joy, love and wonder….maybe your nothing, no more than code. Ones and zeroes on tram lines of fate, but to me in YOUR moment when you’re alive you open that door between the screen and my mind, and then for a while we are one….and then you are gone.

  • An answer to a Question that asks for more Questions.

I wanna see this video so go HERE and ask some interesting none-xanga related questions, really think up some good ones, and check the other comments so you don’t double ask :D

    Thank You!

And now since i’d feel bad if this was the entirety of my post perhaps a quick poem on the subject of questions:

I have a question on my mind it’s been there for quite sometime.

Is it a what, a where, a when, dose it matter, do I care, is the answer over there.

Will it, won’t it, can you, should we, yes or no, ever asking never to know.

Questions questions on my tounge perhaps in asking is the fun.

I’m sure it’s out there or somewhere near the answer that uncovers mystery and our fear, but do i really want to know would the answer rob me of the show.

Do we question questions or is it better not to know….I’ve no answers so i’d better go :)

With apologies to proper poets, I just came up with this on the spot so it’ll be rough ;)
