Okay I’ll admit i’ve pulled a bit of a Quantum Storm, but Well technically i’m not lying, if you look closely at what is on the screen and
also I was officially topless ;P

But the point of this is not to dissapoint a whole lot of people but rather to test what i’ve recently been learning about the power of
good headlines.
My usual posts get me about 50 views,(back when i wrote this that was true, but now it’s more like maybe avarage of 80 or 90 thanks
everyone ) sometimes more if i managed to get a few recs from people but i’m betting with this headline alone my hit rate will
be easily doubled, but i can of course not be sure without testing

And i also want to submit a challenge to come up with the ultimate Xanga post title, I think i’ve created a pretty powerful one here but
perhaps there’s an even more ultimate headline out there so what are your best suggestions?

Also since i’m supposed to be a marketer now and this is sort of a marketing test i’d better try to sell something to you guys.
But since i’ve kind of made a deal with myself not to try to market to my Xanga buddies i’m not going to post up affiliate links but

I would like to say Thank You to all those who everyday share their lives and problems with us.

The act of opening yourself up and admitting you have a weakness or issues is often true strength but more than that your honesty and trust gives everyone a chance to express compassion, to see the pain in someone elses life and put aside judgement or opinon and just be there for them.

For a long time I was somewhat harsh in my mind when it came to people and their ‘problems’ I thought well rather than going on about it all the time and indulging in the bad side why not do something about it? But this was an uninformed position to take, because it’s through this sharing and expressing of our inner selves that we manage to build an understanding and bridge the gap that separates us from each other, it also allows some of the most powerful and healing emotions life and expression, Compassion, Gratitude, Kindness and Love.

By giving others the oppertunity to help you are actually helping not only yourself but them aswell, everything we see in our world is as much a part of us as it is separate and if we can heal or care for others then we do ourselves a great service.

So basically Thank you to everyone here who has the bravery to share their hopes, dreams, worries, pains, losses, loves and everything else that makes us the strange complex things that we are, because its’ you who have brought us together as a community and opened my heart to compassion in an entirely new way.

Hopefully i’ll be able to post something with and actual thousand words in it next time

First off i’d like to show off a bit by saying i’m currently writing this post (while laying in bed and listening to music) on my nintendo 3DS, oh yea check out how fancy and modern i am ;p

Anyway this is just a super quickie to say….arrrgh i miss xanga, and all the lovely xangans but for the past day (yep i’ve got xanga-withdrawl from one day away I’ve been in ancient Japan and unless something gets in the way thats where i’m going to be for the next little while.

Recent hardware upgrades have opened up the opportunity to play Shogun Total War 2, and games always come first in my heart…(just) so even though i shall endeavor to keep upto-date and even post i might be a bit less engaged with xanga for a bit, not to mention i actually have quite a lot of work on too.

But basically thats it, due to some high quality gaming at the mo i’m missing Xanga
it’s at this point in these type of posts i start to realize that i’m almost certainly over reacting and will most likely only be absent for a day at most, but what i really want to say again is that both Xanga and of course more importantly the people on it are really very important to me and there aren’t enough times or ways to say it
chances are i’m gonna be here just as much as always but just know that your all awesome and i’m so blessed to know you.

Okay how about this…..

Lets say that we are capable of controling our perception to the extent that what we focus on becomes. For examples of this take visualisation and the concepts in ‘The Secret’ or even Quantum physics which tells us that the observer can affect the experiment (Schrödinger’s cat).

Now take the concept of fate, the idea that our lives are in someway preordained, that everything we do is in fact beyond our control and has been written somewhere before.

Okay so what about if you combine the two, so what we hold in our minds, lets say for an example a week ago gets written into our lives and happens a week later, this would mean that we do live fated lives but we are also incontrol of that fate, thus meaning in a very real sense we can choose our ‘destiny’.

Imagine it like drawing a circle but as you draw the circle your moving your hand ever forwards, the resulting pattern would be like a ring that spiraled.

Whats dose this mean? well it means two very important things,

1: if you look at your life right now you’ll be seeing the results of what you have been focusing on,

and 2: once you’ve seen where you are now and accept that your ‘fate’ is in your control it then means you can begin writing how you want your life to be in every moment.

 

A couple days back (maybe one) I got the angel of Laughter, but i didn’t get round to pulsing it.

And as i was thinking about it I realised that over the past few days i’ve been pretty darn happy and since i was feeling happy it was actually a bit annoying that i didn’t manage to spread it a little with my appropriate pulse.

So here is a short Poem on the subject of happines to make up

Inspired by Rey @pinktiger335 here’s what I can come up for the qualities i’d look for in a woman. I did do something similar to this before for a 10 day challenge but I’ll try to be a bit more specific.

 

1: A good sense of humour is always really attractive, and i don’t just mean someone who can tell a good joke but more like the ability to see the funny side of life, to not take everything quite so seriously.Whenever i’m suprised by someones sense of humour it’s always a good sign that they are not only relaxed but also intellegent and aware.

2: Someone capable, able and intellegent. I’m not that dominant and actually prefer to support or even follow so although i’d aim for a strong cooperation I wouldn’t mind someone who was willing to take charge and at least make a decision. And of course someone with an active mind and hopefully an open mind so that they are able to understand and tolerate more than oppose.

3: I really want a family so It would have to be someone who wanted children at some point. More and more i feel like i’m missing out on the time i could be spending with my kids so an ideal partener would be someone who really wanted a family right from the start, I know i’m only 26 but times moving a lot quicker than i’d like it to so i’d want to make sure thats was on the table pretty quick.

4: As far as physical apperance go’s thats kind of flexible i’m not all that picky but I would quite like to find someone not of my culture and preferably not of my race, seems like it would be more interesting and give an oppertunity to learn a new language and different culture. Body size again it all depends on too much to pin down, but small is nice.

5: Nerds. I love computers, Video games and TV and generally would want to at least be able to share that somewhat with someone i’m with, so anyone even a little nerdy would be cool.

6 Creativity is in us all but someone whos really able to express through somekind of art would be nice, dosen’t really matter what dance, music, painting anything really just something that they are lit up by creatively it would be great to share that with someone.

Basically I want someone to be a really good friend, someone who I can completely trust and be open with, so as long as thats the base level then the rest of the details are just all part of the suprise. My true hope is to find someone just to be with and be able to share our life and experiances with.

 

So I was going to post about what i look for in a woman…but i’ve got to get on and that would take too long, i’ll get to it but for now just a quicky to get my Xanga fix and then i’m off.

For the past few Weeks (yes weeks) every night i’ve listened to this Track and it’s acoustic version before going to sleep, sometimes i’ll listen to other music too or more Avril but mostly and certianly to begin with it’s been this one track.

I’m not sure why or for what purpose but currently this is the (and i hate this expression but it fits) ‘Soundtrack to my life’ Whats yours at the moment if anything?

I’m almost certain this must have been done before but even so…..

I do have a proper challenge in mind that’s a bit less nerdy and involves much less Zombies but for now this one is easier.

You see a worm crossing the road what do you do?

When I was younger I would pretty much always try to ‘help’ the worm thinking that it would almost certainly die from heat, birds or cars. But over the years i have developed many other possible answers to this question.

Such as What business is it of yours to alter the worms life? What gives you the right to choose when and where something dies? is saving a life as much interference as taking one?

But then that approach suggests that you are somehow apart from ‘life’ that your choices and actions are not natural, but of course we are part of nature nothing we do can be free from that fact. And of course then there’s fate, what if fate exists and everything we do is pre-ordained? then to choose not to or to choose to save the worm becomes irrelevant because whatever you choose was the right thing.

But without fate then we have free will and we do have a choice to make, but what to choose?

To save the worm is to interfere with the worms existence, to change its reality and its potential in a sense to take away it’s choice. Perhaps it was suicidal? or perhaps it just needed to get across for it’s own reasons despite the risk. But on the other hand to NOT save the worm is to ignore your place in its life and your own, you where given that situation to experience and not only that you where then given the impulse to interact with the worm is ignoring it like ignoring an intuition that then turns out to have been right?

Each and every thing we see in this life is an endless voyage of further complexity, from the mundane to the sublime, what we choose to do with every moment and why is far too complex to ever fully understand but we should all be aware that even so much as a Worm crossing the road is a strange and wonderful interaction with everything.

So What would you do?
