  • Favorite Blogger Day 7 Final Entry

    Hurrah it’s the final post of this brilliant idea inspired by Kampj.

    It’s been a lot of fun and i’ve met some amazing Xangans so far, that i really ought to do another list to mention lol. Thank you to everyone for being who you are and for commenting, friending and subbing I hope that i’ve been able to share some lovely Bloggers with you and help to spread the love, I know i’ve smiled and been happy more this week than most.

     

     

    Again this post will feature two Bloggers who both really deserve my thanks for their great posts and joyful attitudes, i doubt many of you won’t have heard of them but still drop by and say hi :)

    He needs no introduction, because as far as i’m concerned he IS Xanga it’s MR.GUNBLAAAAADEEEE….

    A Year ago when I first came to Xanga Alex was one of (if not THE) first Xangans I looked at, I actually stopped using Xanga after only about a couple weeks after I first signed up but I always remembered Alex and his friendly style.
    In fact as I write this I remember what really caught my attention was Shillykins had a Vlog up saying she’d worn Alex’s face on her t-shirt for an entire day lol that always stuck in my mind. 
    Several months later when I returned I spent a bit more time getting to know Alex and properly reading his Blog, I love his RoadLessTaken video on the header of his blog and as I’ve seen more of him I am confirmed in my expectations of one of the most decent and fun Xangans out there, along with Lena, Alex was another inspiration for the XangaLegion idea since he just gives a sense of being heroic (sorry serious case of nerd bromance going on here lol)
    Also once again being a newbie to Xanga and blogs in general to get comments and even I think a few Recs from the likes of Alex was a really big thing for me so I’m really grateful for that because without his input I wouldn’t have met half the cool people I have so far.

    Alex’s blogs make you laugh and they make you think, he seems to get into some fantastic situations (forehead hicky being the recent highlight) and he always shares them well presented and with eloquence. He’s a pro and a great role model.  

     

     

    Next is another really sweet blogger who i just love.

    I’m terrible at remembering where or when I first met Xangans, but I think she commented on one of my posts.
    The thing that really caught my attention though was her positive picture week posts, because what she picked and wrote each day was so lovely and uplifting I really looked forwards to it.

    I get a real motherly sense from her and much like several others of my favourites she often posts things of interest with a very clear and positive style, and she’s quite a romantic which is always nice.

    Best of all it was because of her posetive picture week that i was tempted to do this week of posts so everything preceding is in part thanks to her.

  • @Roadlesstaken - Hmmm Not really unfortunately, it must have been through ShillyKins because thats where i most remember you popping up but i should imagine you were abouts on some of the other pages i looked at, it was all a bit random back at the start.
    When I returned you were among the first i looked at though and that was definately through comments on Shilly.

  • Aww..I’m really flattered that I even made it on your list..for I see far more talented and inspiring bloggers on here! =) Thank you. And, I’ve noticed Alex is the only guy that made on the fav list! hehe But he definitely is an awesome person. He was the first to befriend me when I decided to reconnect with Xanga and I think he’s a super nice guy. I think everyone here always has something great to say about Alex.

    As i said in the post you definately deserve to be here because without your posetive pics I wouldn’t have been confident enough to go for Kampj’s idea.
    And yeah lol there aren’t that many male Xangans i’ve gotten to know well enough yet, i’ll have to do a guys list at some point :)

    Alex is definately the person i most associate with Xanga, and i’m glad you enjoyed reading :D

  • Unfortunately I have not had the pleasure of meeting either of them. You talk so highly of them I will have to make it a point to visit them. 

  • Hahaha….Alex is pretty awesome.  I think I stumbled across him because of those xanga secrets.  Like I was already reading him, but he just kept popping up in my feed with those, so I started reading.  I’ve shown him my affection by adding him to my awesome list and told him I wouldn’t feed him to zombies.  Which is quite a high placement. :P

    I’m fine thanks :D been having fun posting about nice bloggers and meeting new ones. I miss your posts though, even if it’s just about your make-up obsession you should post everynow and then hehe

     Well i can’t exactly say i’ve seen too many blogs on Xanga that quite so comprehensivly describe make-up as yours….and although I myself am unlikely to find it useful i’m sure someone will.
     Plus it’s more the style of writing that i enjoy about bloggers rather than the content.

  • I still can’t get over how awesome this idea is. I definitely would like to do my own series of these in the near future. The picture of Alex is awesome though. “Mr. Gunbladddeeee” Lmao.

  • Two amazing xangans!!!!

    i remember when i first met alex. he was mr super duper popular on xanga and always had a gazillion comments! i wouldve thought that’d get to his head but he always made an effort to talk to new people. he seems like hte kind of guy that will always have tons of friends around him, but won’t ever forget anyone. that’s why i like him so much :)

    i met annie a few months ago, and she was always so positive. her posts make me smile all the time, and she’s probably the sweetest person on xanga!
