Turn a Negative into a Positive
Hmm well this year I had many high hopes for making a better income and getting more work…but none of them have turned out right so far, and infact I seem to have returned to the usually depressingly low level of my bank account.
But despite this which does have its moments when it both annoys and depresses me. I have in the last little while finally taken on the good advice of ‘If you are not getting the results you want, then do something different’ and using this I have begun changing the way I approach my goals and will achieve them.
The thing is that this days concept is infact a constant through out all life. No matter what you choose to look at everything has the dualistic property of being both good and bad, depending on where you place your point of perception. It’s actually a bit of an issue for me since if you look at something with this lens then you fade into inaction since nothing really matters one way or the other.
It also all matters of course
thats the annoying paradox, but my mind so far tends towards the nothing rather than everything.
But bottom line is every loss, every setback is packed with reasons why it is a good thing, perhaps it makes you dig down and really try, perhaps it opens new paths, or even teaches you why the route you were taking is wrong for you.
There are thousands of ways to see an event so we may aswell pick the good ones.

Perfectly said, Bede. I hope you stay positive and your work situation will get easier!
Wow. This was really inspirational to me. Of all days, today would be the day that i really needed to hear this. You put your feelings onto paper so well. Thank you for sharing.
What a cool challenge. I may give this one a try when I get back into town.
@under_the_carpet - Thanks
Yeah Eventually if we are always getting the same results it can only be what we are doing or thinking that is bringing them.
@xdeelynnx - Thank you Deanna!
@RestlessButterfly - :( i’m sorry to hear you are struggling, keep looking and you will find the reasons why it is as good as it is bad.
And I hope things get better soon <3
