Yes, it's a cool place, and it's good when you meet cool and nice people.

 Sadly, xanga (and the internet in general), can be a very fucked up place. Unlike the real world, douchebags are able to attack and harass you without ever showing their face or their name. It's a sad reality.

We are all connected, isn't it great? :)

I told someone i met here only a few weeks ago never to underestimate your effect here in what you say and do.  Particularly when you are doing something really good (such as this person is doing) and think maybe the effects of your actions are negligible,  We can see the potent effects of evil done because there is so much of it everywhere, but never hesitate to say something you know will have effects that will be profoundly beneficial, even lifesaving, just because your efforts in this direction seem futile.
   And in particular, if you love someone never hesitate to say it because you may never have the chance again.  Anything can happen.
   Thank you for this post.  It shows a self awareness anyone would do well to emulate.

Yes we do have an impact in each others life and I love it. I love to know you and to be able to talk to you, I'm happy to read you and see how you grow as a great man and a very intriguing writer...you know you're one of my favorite xangans but I'm also grateful for so many people here...I'd be totally lost without you or Leny lol

I think you are amazing . I was taught that talking to people on the internet is something for weirdos and pervs when I was younger, but now my online firends mean as much to me as the rl friends. I think (in spite of all the drama) that Xanga is a specifically great site to make friends too.
I cannot imagine building these bonds on fb or youtube.
