Hmm books…not really my thing to be honest, but the one I always pick when asked this question would be The Hounds of the MorriganWhich was a favourite of my childhood when my dad would read it to me and my bro
Plenty of magic, adventure, folklore and fun…with lots of great Irish accents for my dad to do

Funny thing… I always associated Morrigan with bats.
@Lakakalo - Bats?…huh that is funny…well they can shape change so maybe Bat’s are also one of their options
I’ve not read this book, but I’m giggling because I used voices and accents when reading stories to my boys. (Okay, so I’m a ham like your dad!) This book sounds right up my alley. I’ll have to check it out…
@SaintBlue1131 - Oh… just do a Google Image search for “Morrigan”.
@Kellsbella -
hehe must be one of the best bits of reading to kids…you get to do all your iffy accents and they’ll think they are awesome
But yeah I think it has a lot of value to adults to as a book.
@Lakakalo - :O Oooo yeah I see…bats and ill fitting corsets…nice
Books are cool. Grr
Looks like the frog and the hair are the stars of this cover of this book.
There’s nothing like a good book
