I Do…
So I’ve actually wanted to post this for a while but forgot about the idea, until this post LINK by @live_for_love reminded me

I want to hear about proposal stories, what, where, when, how and who?
If you are willing, tell me what it was like to pop the question or to have it asked.

This is a cool idea Bede.
This is a great idea.
For me… it wasn’t the big deal that most people make it out to be…
You see, even though we were still “THE BIG V’S” on our wedding night… We had considered ourselves married since about two years prior.
We had one day come home from his work (I’d picked him up) and while laying on his bed (He went to bed because he worked nights) we both gave one another our vows, and promised ourselves to one another. ^_^
Then, we’d decided that he’d propose when he actually felt that he could (money, etc) So, we actually PLANNED the proposal. I can’t remember what we were doing at church (a rehearsal or something) but we’d decided to take my parents to Romano’s Macaroni Grill, and I told him to go ahead and propose to me there.
So, we ate like normal and at the end, he got down on one knee and whipped the ring out (I was the only one expecting it hahahaha).
It was cute because there was a dude there who normally sang at tables (he WOULD have been in a tux, or something) but he’d changed to go home for the night (it was like 10:45PM) So, lookin’ all casual, he came over to the table and sang for us hahaha. (In a street cap and all) and it was funny because he was singing a love song, and said something about looking into his eyes, but while he was saying those lyrics he was pointing at my husband. We all laughed.
That’s about it.
I was just friends with my now husband. We took different trips together and did different activities together. Then we went to Puerto Rico….and Kells got drunk and laid. It was an eye opener to be sure. At the airport I said, “We should get married.” He replied, “You want to?” And I said, “Yes.”
The poor creature has been dealing with me for 17 years now….
I first need to experience a relationship for once, so obviously I’m nowhere close to a proposal
:( lol
@KnightInCROATIANarmor - Yeah should be interesting
@xdeelynnx - Thanks
They are usually really good stories.
@Cestovatelka - Hmm I know how you feel :/ Just gotta be patient I guess.
@LKJSlain - Awww <3 How come everything is so swee about you guys
This is a perfect story for your relationship, romantic yet sensible and down to earth…with a good splash of funny and slightly odd
@Kellsbella - And I hope he’s grateful every single day for being one of the luckiest bastards on the planet
Great story Kells
