  • World Tour of Accents

    Okay well thanks to Ava @yearofthebeautiful I have somehow been talked into making this video, which is pretty much all the accents I could think of to do.

    As I say in the video I am by no means saying i’m good at any of these accents, and please don’t be offended if you happen to be from one of the countries this is just general silliness :) this is rather embarrassing shy but quite fun trying to figure out each one and chane into them…not sure if they sound all that clear on the video but hey, if nothing else it’ll give you a good laugh :P

  • This just made my day. I can’t imagine doing other accents. I think I’ll just stick to my own ;) hehe Well done.

  • I was smiling the entire time.

  • This was so entertaining!  I especially liked the Chinese (even if you say it’s a caricature), American Southern and Hillbilly (“You don’t need to say much of anything important and it sounds, well, alright” haha) and Mexican.  But I enjoyed all of them.

  • I was expecting you to sound more irish.

  • LOL, this is great Bede, I wish I could talk in different accents, I have the Mid-Western Accent from Cincinnati, Ohio…Ahh, I really do not have much of one, but some people do think I have one.  When I lived down south in North Carolina people thought I was from Michigan or whatever, but I still find it entertaining when people do different accents and what not…I love hearing people’s accents as well, and yours is charming! :)

  • OME I LOVE THIS! I was kind of disappointed that you didn’t do a Canadian accent, but maybe next time *L0L* I can do an excellent Irish accent and my cockney isn’t bad either, but I have to learn how to do a nice British accent for my role in The Importance of Being Earnest. If you ever feel like recording yourself or a friend reading Cecily’s line and posting it, go right ahead

  • @xdeelynnx - hahaha thanks :) other accents are fun..even bad ones ;)

    @yearofthebeautiful - Yay :D then it was worth it.

    @reginasikora - Thanks lol Yeah i’m pretty sure my chinese is just not politically correct :P
    and southern is way too much fun to do :D

    @brianchristopheryates - :/ well I’m sorry to dissapoint…i think :P lol

    @Endless21Echos - There must be so many differenet subtle accents in America I usually just club them all into one group, basically northern and southern…but it would be interesting to hear a whole bunch of different American dialects, they must be just as varied as in the UK…but probably more so considering the scale differance.

    @SUMRdaisy - Aww damn yeah..It’s pretty much the same as my American but softer and i try to sneak in as many aboots as possible ;) lol
    I also missed out Russian so i’ll have to do another one at some point :P

    And sure, give me the line and i’ll read it :D

  • @SaintBlue1131 - No disappointment. I guess Xangans voices wrong all the time, of the few I’ve heard.  I think from one of your vids where you’re dancing outside, I assumed you lived in Ireland.

  • Watching your video and wondering how you got so much to say :D

    So entertaining!

  • you – in a motion picture! haha
    and accents to go with it! – perfect!! :)
    Scottish is cool :P
    Good thing Canada has no accent… hahaha

  • @vrndm - Hahah no idea :P I was very nervous and speaking too fast :S

    But once I got started it wasn’t so bad.
    @Zissu25 - I wouldn’t be so sure aboot that ;)
    Thats the second person who’s mentioned Canadian…I might have to do another one with the missed languages :)

  • @SaintBlue1131 - hahaha yeah I want to see you speek Canadian! :)
    I have to say no one says “aboot” though haha – some kind of say “aboat” though… :P
    I guess I kind of say “abaot”… or something like that – in other words, the proper way to pronounce “about”… :)

  • Hahah this made my night, awesome Bede! <3

  • @Hdyhadon - :D hehehe glad to hear it

  • That was pure brilliant!! Did you write a script, or did you do all of that off the top of your head? Amazing!! You got so many of the subtle changes in accent and you did it with no transition. I laughed out loud, maybe the best thing I’ve seen on this site! :) I can’t do that many accents. I can imitate an American southern accent pretty well, but if I could do your accent I’d use it all the time and never change back to Canadian! :) :)

  • @EmilyandAtticus -  hahaha I just came up with it :P I get a bit repeaty sometimes and was very nervous lol but thank you for the compliments, really glad to have made you laugh :D

    So you can do a southern accent but don’t like Country music? o.O heheI often slip into different accents just for jokes or for the fun of it, mostly sort of American or Yorkshire/Lancashire for some reason lol

  • @SaintBlue1131 - Well I can do a Southern accent but I can’t sing so luckily I’ll avoid all that country music. :)  Your transitions were really amazing, loved this.
