Butterfly Net
Mr. @PPhilip a Xangan I consider to be both a gentleman and a scholar asked me in my last post about a comment of mine that was removed, to be honest It was news to me that it was removed since I was also blocked from the users site :S so couldn’t check, but since he asked I shall shed a little light on what happened, from my point of view anyway
A couple days ago I was logging onto Xanga to check in when I spotted a post called ‘restlessbutterfly is attacking me’ I actually only saw the RestlessButterfly bit to begin with and since I know her I checked it out.
The post was by a blogger called Smouldering_Cigarette I don’t know him (not sure of gender but for ease i’ll use him) and have never been to any of his blogs. The post was a bit of an odd one that I have to be honest I thought was a spoof post since it was pretty much just one line of text saying something about Restlessbutterfly being a troll and attacking him, then a link to a Google image search for ‘Restlessbutterfly’ (which included one of my drawings
hehe) and a screenshot of what i assume was his footprints read out showing a mix of both Restlessbutterfly and some un-usernamed Malaysian hits all at the exact same time.Now I will admit it was late and I was a bit tipsy from red wine, but the ‘evidence’ provided seemed so silly and the comments were so generic I sort of assumed it was all tounge in cheek, so I left a comment saying:
“Hahahaha yea you’ve got a rock solid conspiracy theory there, all you need now is some blurry shots of lights in the sky and you’re golden” (not entirely sure of the text but that was pretty much it)
I then browsed off and visited other sites. Eventually refreshing my homepage to see a couple of responces:
The first was from the blog owner (Smouldering_Cigarette) and it said: “Yeah. And you’re a troll. You’re blocked.” (this is exact since i copied it from my xanga update e-mail)
And the second was from another poster who told me that what SC was saying was true and that Rez has multiple accounts and all of her cousins are also just either her or other trolls. (Rez’s Fearlessbutterfly account was mentioned)
To SC I said something like, and sadly I cannot be accurate here since my message dosen’t record all of it other than “Cool…as far as I know I…” but the gist was I only knew Rez as being nice and also had never really been blocked before and have been waiting for someone to disagree with me to see what it’s like
…(again I was slightly drunk at the time.)To the other commenter who had replyed in support of SC’s original post I said something along the lines of: ‘Well it is true you never actually know online but so far all my experiances with Restlessbutterfly and her cousins have been very posetive, so if you have had other experiances then I hope you can take some comfort in the fact that they are kind people’…again I can’t be totally sure of what I said but it was simply saying that I did not have the same perception as the commenter of the people mentioned but while I do support them (Rez et al) it is true that one cannot ever be 100% sure of online reality.
The reply to my reply that started out with ”Cool…as far as I know I…” was this by (Smouldering_Cigarette): “Maybe you should ask your butterfly friend to stop attacking me. I’ve never been to her site, never comment on her blogs or even know her. I know she sabotages people’s site to get rid of them from Top Blogs. I caught her redhanded and I have reported her.”
And after that he blocked me.
Actually come to re-read it, dosen’t that responce have a rather glaring contradiction in it? -_-
And thats the whole story as far as I know.
My two cents are that in my time on Xanga and time knowing Restlessbutterfly I have only ever seen someone who is passionate, kind, supportive, fun…and a bit crazy
but only in a good way.She’s on many occasions gone out of her way on my behalf and I have never seen any of her blogs since knowing her that have been anything other than funny or interesting, certainly never attacking or troll like.
But as I stated above one can never know for sure online, so perhaps there is another side I’ve not seen it’s possible…like it’s possible with any one of us. But I rather hope if anyone accuses me or anyone esle of being a troll they have a little more evidence than was presented in the post I saw.
To be honest I’m still not sure it was a real post I was considering posting about it before PPhilip asked me…but it was just so inconsiquential I decided against it. So I do most certainly hope that Rez either didn’t see it or has ignored it since again in my experiance it’s not true and a rather lame attempt if it was done maliciously.

I know some of your games but over all you try to be funny yet honest.(must be the wine) However I am protective to a point for certain folks (biased) and just have been lately hanging about the top posts. (my list of subscriptions and reading habits change as quirky as me)
Overall you gave a good summary and I am pretty sure a certain Knight is also aroused if he really is a good man. What will we see? Probably never an apology from said poster who really has crossed the line by deleting your post.
Who knows Restless butterfly? Me I am biased. However maybe I can recommend her to bribe you with premium? I myself like the ads and refuse to get premium for a month even though I have credits enough for it.

For me trolls are only people who pretend to be someone else or coldly calculate their comments to annoy others even though it has nothing to do with their “real” self. and not everyone who disagrees with me. There are a lot of douchebags and assholes and simply crazy (in a bad way) people around, and I block them as well, but they aren’t trolls too me.

People keep making trolls out to be bad. Some of my best friends are trolls.
I caught her redhanded badmouthing me and my friends in Celestial_Teapot, Paul_Partisan, ItIsAllGravy, InternetDominator, FuhkAwf and AlluringAddiction’s sites. She HANGS around known cyberbullies. She want the trolls to attack her own fellow Malaysians. That shows how evil this woman is.
When she wrote about her ‘illnesses’, someone who works in the medical field pointed out that her medicine are only antibiotics. She blocked him out and deleted his comments.
Not only she faked about her Xanga family, she also faked her own illnesses. Next time she shows off her medicine, do your own research on the medicine and the hospitals where she was supposedly treated. She doesn’t have a chronic disease, she only has a respiratory problem which is treatable.
From 2007-2009 she’s been in and out of hospital for unknown medical treatment. We suspect she was treated for a mental condition or chronic depression. Her erratic behavior and emo blog is a telltale sign of someone who is having a depression. She writes herself as a third person. That is highly unusual.
*sigh* I hate when this happens to Rez cuz she’s such a sweetheart and I love her so much. She’s nothing but sweet, caring and supportive. I’ve addressed the multiple accounts issue before cuz I’ve been doing some searchs on several of Rez “enemies” content and most of it is taken from old blogs and poetry sites so no real content on most of those accounts : I hope they leave her alone.
I’ve been called a troll too and I’ve been accused of being RulerofMasons and some other xangans too LOL it’s part of the Xanga charm
@xXxlovelylollipop - If she is sweetheart, then explain to us why she repeatedly trying to spread lies about she’s being bullied? Explain to me why did she lied about her Xanga cousins who are all proven fakes. Malaysia have its own forums and weblog communities, she can steal people identities anytime she likes. I am furious she stole my cousin’s photo as one of her fake profile photos.
You want to know more about her? Dig her past, her old posts from her old Xanga accounts. Ask from her former subscribers. You will see the other side of Rez you thought you will never see.
I’ve seen a lot of people attack her, but I’ve never seen anything wrong with her or troll like. Like you said, though, you can’t really be sure about people online.
I can’t comment on any of the people involved since I am unfamiliar with their sites. However, if someone blocks you when you think you have been reasonable, I take it to mean that that person has issues. When I think of it that way, it doesn’t bother me as much.
That is a pretty image, btw.
Rez and I both noticed the post. The best thing you can do it stay away from that blogger and anyone else who likes to spread lies with no real evidence.
@PPhilip - Well I try to be as honest and balanced as possible, but yea I’m biased with regards Rez myself. I know the kind of person she is and thus can easily laugh off such attacks.

But yea Trolls are those that try to make others un-happy for their own amusement in my mind.
Thankfully I’ve not had to deal with them…get’s annoying when they target my friends though.

@The_Mysterious_Lady - Well it’s all about likelyhoods, perhaps it is possible that you are right and she is someone who to some is kind, generous and loving with a strong support for Malaysia…while to others she is a manipulative troll who gives Malaysians a bad name…it’s possible, but just dosen’t sound quite right to me, certainly not from my personal experiance.
What sounds more likely is her side of the story which is that she is often targetted by impersonaters and trolls who try to not only get her account blocked but also blacken her name, she has on occassion even had to make new accounts (like her Fearlessbutterfly account) to try and defend the damage done to her main account.
I can only speak from my point of view but I promise you I have never seen anything from the person I know as Rez that hasn’t been kind, sweet and most strikingly in contradicton to what you say she also is a very strong and open supporter of her country and people.
As for her health issues, as far as I know she had Pneumonia…which is treated by the use of Antibiotics.

But sadly online all we can do is be as honest as possible and then hope that we are not targetted.
But most of all I think it’s always wise to have a good sense of humour about this kind of thing.
@The_Mysterious_Lady - Again I’ve actually seen her main site be shut down by people constantly marking it as explicit when there was nothing NSFW at all on there, this is an attack i’ve actuall witnessed, it’s not conclusive since nothing online can be really…but it’s worth mentioning.

The more lies they wrote about me, the more truths they told about themselves.
I noticed the post. I noticed everything they blogging and wrote about me, I don’t care because I know it’s not true. They’re talking about themselves – out of their guilty conscience.
They spammed my blog with fake viewers since last month and I did blogging about the spam activity last month – with the spammer username on it. If I know how to spamming/trolling their blogs – it’s because they taught me.
Those people are plain silly, there’s no use to entertain them. All the things the said about me – actually they’re talking about themselves.
They used someone else profile pics. Yes, they were my friends back on 2004 and 2007. I unfriended them because I found out about that they lied about everything, their real name, the family background – nothing is real about them. They attacking me because they’re afraid of me. They want me to walk away from xanga and never come back. If I am not on Xanga, their lies and their secrets are safe.
One of them used Nicholas Tze as profile the claimed it as his pics.
One of them used Diether Ocampo and claimed it as his pics.
Lately I noticed one of them using this guy pics as his profile pics.

As for you, the right way to say to your loved one in Malay is ‘sayang’ and NOT ‘sayangku’. No one in a his or he right mind would use ‘sayangku’ when declaring love or affection. You don’t see or hear people calling ‘sayangku’ in real life and in the drama or movie in Malaysia. The word ‘my love’ when translated into Malay is ‘kekasihku’, NOT ‘sayangku’. The verb ‘ku’ is the shorter form of ‘aku’ which means ‘me’ and in possession form ‘mine’.
‘Sayang’ can be used both romantically and platonically, a lover can call his loved one ‘sayang’ and a mother can call her child ‘sayang’. ‘Sayangku’ is not even in the Malay kamus (dictionary). It’s obvious that RestlessButterfly failed in her Malay language. She doesn’t even know her own Malay grammar, just like English and she’s teaching you a corrupted Malay language mixed with Malay accent. Know that speaking Malay with a Malay accent is different from the real Malay Language. They don’t pronounce things the way it’s spelled.
From her Xanga videos, I can hear a lady speaking in a strong West Malaysian accent, not something you expect from an Iban like RestlessButterfly. And RestlessButterfly never speaks directly to camera. All your hear in ‘her videos’ is a voiceover of a woman with a West Malaysian accent, specifically someone from Selangor and Kuala Lumpur area. We all know that RestlessButterfly is from Sarawak, which is located in East Malaysia. An East Malaysian speaking in a West Malaysian accent in her videos? Really? Even her ‘nieces’ speak in West Malaysian accent. I don’t even hear any Iban accent at all. Even the videos with her ‘family’ has a Sabahan accent, which is from another state – my state Sabah, so I know my people accent. Rather cosmopolitan family eh? No one is speaking in their own native Iban language or even speak with an Iban accent.
