Do You Feel Lucky…
Punk!..Well Do ya?
So today is Friday the 13th, and is aparently mostly considered to be unlucky.
Well tosh to that I say!
In my mind Luck is more indifferent, so why can’t today just be a lucky day, neither good nor bad.
I consider myself lucky, I live very comfortably I’ve had almost no hardship of any type (physical or emotional) and I am largely free to do what I enjoy.
But what I like about luck the most is coincidence, lucky timing, being in the right place at the right time.
And those aspects of luck I feel are tied into Intuition and our ability to interact with the more subtle layers of life and perception.
Some people think that Luck can be seen as a skill to be honed and developed, and I actually think there may be some stock in this.
If you spend your time developing your perception and awareness, your intuition and gut feeling. You’ll be giving yourself the best possible change to tap into Luck and all the often incredible benefits that come with it.
Luck is sort of innocent, it’s an event where the best thing happens for someone or something with no reason or loss to anyone else. I think it becomes stronger if you believe and trust in it and I most certainly wish it on all reading this.
A motto I often say to myself is “It’s better to be lucky than good” because I’ve never seen myself as all that skillful in anything. And when given the chance to create a character for my self in a computer game, i’ll often choose luck over other attributes. So bottom line is Be Lucky today…be lucky EVERY day and rejoice in the luck you already have

Well I was just pooped on by my son… Must be very lucky!
@MommyMarty22 - lol sorry I’m just so glad mines already old enough
Luck, you see my take on this is biased, I’ve always been the lucky one, yup my younger brother, his luck really sucks, seriously if there’s a fly in someones plate is always his and if there’s a chance of something not to work it’d fail on him, always. So if he’s having problems with his laptop he’ll call me cuz he knows the damn thing is going to work just fine for me, I’ve pretty good luck. It also works on winning stuff
“Luck is believing you are lucky” – Tennessee Williams I’ve had my share of crap to deal with in my lifetime. But when you think about it, I’m a lucky lucky girl.I just returned to xanga, and created this new account, and this post is great. I look forward to reading more of your stuff.
I’m definitely feeling lucky
I fell lucky every day that i wake up alive, and everything else is just icing on the cake.
I am an extremely lucky person. I can’t argue with this post at all.
I’m lucky that my parents haven’t kicked me out of the house yet while I am still trying to find a job.
Ahhh, Dirty Harry. I had so many hopes for that movie, but when I finally watched it I thought it sucked. lol
@MommyMarty22 - Ah haha…well maybe it could be lucky…for some reason…hmmm
You are VERY lucky to have a son so poop or no, you’re still lucky
Ah-ha
@xXxlovelylollipop - Hahaha you sounds like a good person to hang around with
But while your brother may not be ‘Good’ lucky in the classic sense, he’s still pretty lucky it’s just the wrong things he gets lucky with.
@DirtyExplorer - And I look forwards to getting to know you
@xdeelynnx - Haha have a nice weekend
@Grannys_Place - A very wise way to live
@whyzat - Cool…i’ll try to come up with something you can disagree with next time
hehe
@Cestovatelka - Lol yea it is a bit of an odd film, I think it’s just this one scene that everyone likes.
And you’re lucky you are so talented and artisitc!
Did you have Lucky Charms for breakfast or did you find a four leaf clover?
You just reminded me I own Dirty Harry yet have never watched it. I’m not sure where I stand on luck… most often I don’t find myself attributing things to it… I drift more towards cause and effect. For instance, I found a $100 bill on the ground at work and turned it in. No one claimed it. I got to keep it. Lucky? For me. Unlucky? For someone else, as some would say.
An aside, I used the $100 (part of it) to pre-order “Tomb of the Cybermen” from the Patrick Troughton era of Doctor Who, the rest went in the bank.
I still don’t know where I stand on luck… if I had to guess I’d say the “lower back-al” region. To relieve tension.
@RulerofMasons - Hehe no just toast and coffee
But I do have a four leaf clover
it’s laminated.
@BlindSight22 - Yea Luck is always up for interpretation, and when you start wondering about it you never know…the loss of the 100 may have cause the person to do something that needed to be done, and who knows what path you might have taken if you’d not had that money or the good doctor lol
Hahaha the lower back region of luck, hehehe well at least it’s some kind of luck
