First Snow
Well It has been well cold enough for it and finally it snowed, it only lasted two days due to a storm comming by and raining rather than snowing but here are the first shots of snow for me this year.
LOTS of Shots, but I’ve kept them pretty small so it should load eventually.
The Macleods Tables (the smaller of the two)
The Macleods Tables (The big one, it has a Gaelic name but I can’t be bothered to search for it right now)
Both the Tables. and a somewhat suggestive central pair of hills
The mist boils over the Cuillins
Snow Rolls in from the Sea.
Out to Sea, and the outer Isles.
Seal Island.
The Ridge wrapped in snow.
Giving a snow man a hand job…ewww
Storm Cloud over the Loch.
The Wall.
View from the Wall.
Secret Government listening post…or maybe a phone mast.
Wind Farms.
The Lost Sheep.
Old Stones, weighed down by time.
Abandoned
Digital Zoom of Macleods Tables, not bad
The Junk of home.

♥ ♥ ♥ This is a good time for me as I’m able to see the snow
I think it really reduced my stress and depression. I love your shots, the snow, and everything about this post

wow awesome!!!!! I hope we are going to have some snow too soon. I that one thing with the hole a skull? Why is that one mountain so flat on the top?
Dear Lord! You live in a Christmas card
amazingly beautiful.
You have no idea how much I like to look at your landscapes. It’s like finally meeting a long lost dream, I’ve read descriptions and so many stories taking place in those landscapes that it’s really cool to finally get the real images. Thank yo so much for sharing Bede.
Awesome shots!
Fabulous snapshots, Bede! You’ve a photographer’ eyes.
Beautiful,Beautiful! And the clouds<3 I’ve always wanted to feel how does the snow feels like.
Amazing shots, Little Cakes!
The snow looks like cotton! Snow gives everything a layer of “icing” and makes everything look so beautiful!
HUGS!
Oh my, are you in canada, the great lakes, or what? Here’s a little something to break up all that white.
Boo pictures, but yay snow!
some cool shots here. i like the pics of the stone houses. i hope that next time you might say something about where they were taken and things like that.
I wonder how many Xanga Legion members I can bury in that snow….
oh these are beautiful shots! i particularly like the ones you can really see the mountains and clouds. very nice. we got our first snow on tuesday over here.
@Twiztidsilverskull - Thanks The landscape kind of does most of the work for me
@xdeelynnx - No problem
Glad you enjoyed em.
@under_the_carpet - Post pics if it does sonw!
And yea thats an eye socket of a sheep that didn’t make it this summer :/
As for the mountain, i’m really not sure either a god sat on it or perhaps it was somekind of very old Volcano, nothings active here anymore but once it was.
@xXxlovelylollipop - Hehe yea it’s no wonder I don’t mind living in isolation and desolation when it looks like this
Glad you enjoyed the photos.
@bmojsilo - Thanks
@RestlessButterfly - Hehe I’m lucky to live in a Photographers paradise, my brother has the real photographers eyes.

@wyrdkismet - Thanks
cool did you get much snow?
I don’t understand why someone above said “boo pictures, but yay snow.”
As I was looking through the pics, my thoughts were the exact opposite of that. LOL! The sights are great, and the snow LOOKS great. But, if I was there, I’d HATE IT. Anything under 75 degrees starts getting uncomfortably cold for me. Oh, well.
Great pics!
@Unstoppable_Inner_Strength - Hahah yea she was just complaining because she has vision issues, which make picture posts much less fun :/
Yea I have to admit I like the way snow looks…but living in a place that gets this cold for this long starts to suck pretty quickly lol
Thanks though
Gorgeous shots, Bede. Wow, that looks EXACTLY like the kind of place I’d loved to have lived in as a kid. Meh, wish it would snow here. We might get some by January or February, for our annual one day of 2 inches of snow. lol.
Speakin of the junk of home, won’t you stop by when you get a moment? A’hd like to see what you think of mah vampire project runway.
Amazing pictures. lol about the snowman hand job.
@tyrannosaurus_specs - Sorry for super late reply :/
And thanks
yea i’ve been walking this area for all my life and it’s still beautiful.But after the long winter of cold and dark we get here, no snow starts to sound like not such a bad deal
My perpetually cold hands are a bonus for the snow
@naughty_virgin - Hehe Thanks
@BFB1131 - no worries!
