No Normal
For so long (and still to this day a little bit) I was under the impression that there was a ‘normal’ that somehow despite all the possible ways to live and think that somewhere within there was this basic accepted ‘normal’.
But of course there isn’t we are everyone of us totally weird, odd, strange and unique.
As i’ve mentioned before (i think) one of my favourite ‘compliments’ was when my cousin said “your just so weird!!”
and she was right but to be honest she’s pretty damn odd too ;P
It’s kind of comforting that despite there being billions of us and our tendency to fall into patterns and habits, we still all manage to retain a little (and for some of us a lot) bit of individual strangeness.
It’s what makes the net so wild i suppose, a place of shared privacy where you can let all your quirks have life and explore the odd world of others.
‘Fit in’ if you feel you have to in real life but don’t deny your weird when you get the chance it’s what makes life taste sweet, and your not alone because ‘normal’ is just an illusion anyway.

So true… People sometimes find it insulting to call someone weird or odd… but truth be told I like being a little weird. it just makes me who I am… My son’s dad still calls me “weird” or “weirdo” in his way of telling me I’m different in thought process or that I don’t think like he does but even though it’s his way of insulting me in a nice way, I take it as a compliment… And I tell him well that’s how you met me 10 yrs ago… He’s married now, but the weirdness in me will never change.

I think many people around me would call me weird or odd, I take that as a compliment. Who wants to be so called normal, makes us interesting lol
@beauty_is_truths_smile - Yea it makes us interesting and unique. Normality has to be less than we are for the majority to agree on it.
It’s good to be different. I love finding people who are a little odd or don’t fit the “normal” cue.
Being normal is boring. I’m glad that I’m sort of weirdo and wicko.
I’m the odd one in my group of friends that play Pump it Up. I’m the only one that really put emphasis on dancing. I bring a crowd to gawk at us because I make it fun.

The real question is, “What Is normal?”. I think everybody is weird in some sort of way. I can honestly say…..I’m weird, lol
