What I look for in A Woman.
Inspired by Rey @pinktiger335 here’s what I can come up for the qualities i’d look for in a woman. I did do something similar to this before for a 10 day challenge but I’ll try to be a bit more specific.
1: A good sense of humour is always really attractive, and i don’t just mean someone who can tell a good joke but more like the ability to see the funny side of life, to not take everything quite so seriously.Whenever i’m suprised by someones sense of humour it’s always a good sign that they are not only relaxed but also intellegent and aware.
2: Someone capable, able and intellegent. I’m not that dominant and actually prefer to support or even follow so although i’d aim for a strong cooperation I wouldn’t mind someone who was willing to take charge and at least make a decision. And of course someone with an active mind and hopefully an open mind so that they are able to understand and tolerate more than oppose.
3: I really want a family so It would have to be someone who wanted children at some point. More and more i feel like i’m missing out on the time i could be spending with my kids so an ideal partener would be someone who really wanted a family right from the start, I know i’m only 26 but times moving a lot quicker than i’d like it to so i’d want to make sure thats was on the table pretty quick.
4: As far as physical apperance go’s thats kind of flexible i’m not all that picky but I would quite like to find someone not of my culture and preferably not of my race, seems like it would be more interesting and give an oppertunity to learn a new language and different culture. Body size again it all depends on too much to pin down, but small is nice.
5: Nerds. I love computers, Video games and TV and generally would want to at least be able to share that somewhat with someone i’m with, so anyone even a little nerdy would be cool.
6 Creativity is in us all but someone whos really able to express through somekind of art would be nice, dosen’t really matter what dance, music, painting anything really just something that they are lit up by creatively it would be great to share that with someone.
Basically I want someone to be a really good friend, someone who I can completely trust and be open with, so as long as thats the base level then the rest of the details are just all part of the suprise. My true hope is to find someone just to be with and be able to share our life and experiances with.

This is nice. I’ve done it before in a Sexcapades issue, which reminds me that I have not written an issue for that series in months. Eh, my job’s taking up too much of my time, and writing those issues needs preparation.

2. I get bored with boys who are not interested in random things.
3. Welp, aside from personal issues (read: selfish) with pregnancy, I don’t think I am physically capable of bearing. I’m too small, I have a heart disease, and I’m anemic. And as for my mental stability, I can be paranoid sometimes, I have an eating disorder, and I’m still dealing with PTSD issues. So. I don’t think, I’m the worst person to be a mother. I would love to have a family, but I don’t think I’m ready or capable to be the mother in a family.
4. Hehehe.
I can say for sure that it is definitely fun and exciting. It’s like you’re learning something everyday. It has its down side, there are times I feel like I can’t express myself well and Justin is having a hard time understanding me, or I can’t understand him. But it’s definitely worth the plus sides.
5. WOOT WOOT WOOT!
Yep! Definitely. I loooove nerds. Computers, science books, video games, insects, philosophy, all kinds of nerdy stuff = HOORAAYAYAYAY!
6. Yep. Someone with an art is good. It helps when that person is down, because you know she can pick herself up. While I would love to be the reason that my significant other smiles, at the end of the day, happiness is a personal responsibility and it’s always internal. If a person can’t make himself happy, there’s nnothing external that can make him happy. This is what I believe.
I’m glad that my current significant other is easily my best friend. I feel comfortable telling him my fears, dreams, my past, the failures and wins of my present, and wanting to have a future with him.
Thanks for this post Bede. Because of this, you made me learn more about you, and at the same time, look at what I have now and realize, I’m truly lucky and blessed.

Awww! But, yeah, I agree with you, my love for Justin is grand, unique, colorful. I sometimes surprise myself. I’ve never thought that I would find it to love someone like this.
Bede, this is a wonderful list!! I’m so glad you got to make it. I would say I could almost easily fit into most of your list. But, finding the right person is still not black and white. I wish you do find her and you guys can be nerdy and have kids =D Yay!!! It’s so nice to think about the traits we want in a person even though we know there will be some aspects we will compromise. But, that’s the fun in life. =D

I have to admit it’s largely due to the amazing women i’ve met on Xanga that i know what to put in this list at all.

And I’m glad good women have influenced your list. Qualities you seek in a person of love interest are a bit hard to know until you see how women and men act. =D
